After making waves in China's premium automotive market, BYD's flagship brand Yangwang is officially set to enter Europe — a move that not only marks the first time a Chinese automaker has entered the continent's million-dollar luxury segment but also challenges the Western perception that 'Made in China' equates to mid-range or budget products.

Positioned as BYD's most premium marque, Yangwang sits above both its core product lines and even the upscale Denza sub-brand, targeting European luxury giants like Bentley, Porsche, and Ferrari. The brand has already established a 'three-pillar' lineup consisting of the U9 supercar, U8 luxury off-road SUV, and U7 full-size sedan, comprehensively covering key high-end market segments.

Compared to traditional European luxury brands, Yangwang's 'latecomer advantage' is particularly evident: its entire lineup consists of new energy vehicles powered by the innovative 'Yi Si Fang' (E-Four) motor platform. This system employs four distributed motors to enable four-wheel independent drive, with millisecond-level torque control that enables instant polarity switching and advanced features like tank turns. With power outputs exceeding 1,000 horsepower across the range, its performance metrics significantly outclass traditional combustion engines.

The upcoming Yangwang U7 will introduce even more disruptive technology — debuting the brand's Cloud Chassis Z electromagnetic suspension system. This replaces conventional hydraulic dampers with floating electromagnetic units, effectively catapulting automotive suspension technology from the 'hydraulic era' directly into the 'electromagnetic age.'
